daio comes from an aristotle phrase “eudaimonia.” at the highest level, it means “human flourishing, or a contented state of being happy, healthy, and prosperous.” that’s also our mission – to provide great tasting, harder working sparkling waters that help you be a little happier and a little healthier.

there’s no need to refrigerate daio before opening – it can be stored in ambient or room temperatures. with that said, while daio is delicious at any temperature, it’s particularly good when consumed cold (but, we may be biased).
nope. we wanted a true, refreshing sparkling water that was free of “non-water stuff” such as sugar, stevia, erythritol, aspertame, agave, etc.
yes, yup and absolutely. we wanted to have a sparkling water that would fit with as many lifestyles and diets as possible, which is why we only use ingredients that are vegan-friendly, kosher and gluten-free.

nah. daio is a sparkling water, and water should be natural. we use no artificial ingredients in daio.
yup. the founder Jason McAlpin is African-American, born in Greensboro, NC and currently lives in Atlanta, GA. daio is also a certified minority-owned business by the Georgia chapter of the National Minority Supplier Development Council.
daio has a stated shelf life of 12 months – which is what the on-bottle date stamp refers to.
